Joint Sealing for Concrete Structures

Sealants help control water and air leakage through exterior and interior joints. Horizontal, vertical and overhead joints are all sealed using specialized sealant made from polyurethane, polysulphide, polyurea and other high-tech materials.

Sealants keep the concrete structure waterproof during movements resulting from expansion and contraction due to seasonal temperature changes, wind loading and moisture changes. Achieving proper adhesion of the sealer to concrete substrate, and having the proper joint sealant design, is of utmost importance for the long-term performance of the sealant.

Over the years, during the completion of most concrete restoration projects, Vector has completed miles and miles of long lasting joint sealing work.
