What is Concrete Resurfacing?

Concrete is a very durable product, but it still needs care and attention at times to last long-term. While it is used in many large products, the concrete used today may be different than that used 20 or 30 years ago.

Concrete resurfacing means placing a new surface over existed deteriorated concrete surfaces. The new surfaced can be a thin cement based overlays, polymer modified cement mortars, portland cement concrete, or various polymer based materials such as epoxy, polyurethane, methyl methacrylate or silicate concrete.   The toppings can vary from several inches to as thin as just ¼ inch of concrete or polymer modified overlay. This can make your existing concrete surface look like new and extend the life of your project. Resurfacing is a very cost effective way upgrade and avoid long-term maintenance costs.
