Chemical Grouting Systems

Chemical grouting systems use materials that react with water to set and are ideal for solving non-structural water leakage problems. Applications include waterproofing cracks and joints, mine shafts, sewer lines, potable water tanks and dams. Once the chemical grouting is completed the end result is a crack, joint or void that is completely filled with a flexible (rubber like) product that provides a leak resistant repair while allowing minor movements of the structure without compromising the water tightness of the repair. Vector Construction is well known worldwide to be a recognized leader in the chemical grouting technology. Vector with its wide selection of repair materials, specialized equipment and experienced technicians is able to seal cracks as small as 0.05 mm (0.002″) in width.

Applications:

All concrete structures

Benefits:

  • Seal cracks from further deterioration
  • Stop the leakage of air, water and fluids through concrete structures
  • Inexpensive when compared with the remove and replace option
